The Asian slaw was the stand out tonight and I will post this recipe on the recipe page. We all agreed that this would go beautifully with green pawpaw or mango and maybe with some fresh prawns.

We started food club two years ago as a way of catching up, while enjoying beautiful food with each other without the restaurant price tag. Every few weeks, two people would be drawn out the hat to work together in the kitchen and produce a meal for the five of us for approx $10 each.
Initially, once the pair were chosen to cook, their task was to produce any two course meal with a theme and buy all the ingredients themselves. Now, food club has evolved into a 'ready-steady-cook' theme with the other three providing the ingredients on the day.
Each time we have food club, we will post recipes and pictures of our work and feedback from the group. Hear is what we have done in the past.
